Amy Bucki started the Home is Where... project as a way to contrast the comforting trappings of domesticity with the beauty of the outside world. She was motivated by the idea that we're often told to try and think about the importance of relaxation, and getting out into the world to make the most of our beautiful country. At the same time, many of us are so busy that we simply can't manage this, and that we're somehow missing out by just doing something as simple as staying at home. This way, the project brings both themes together, hopefully creating an interesting image.
