The artistic approach Anne-Charlotte Moulard uses analogue photography and cinema to question our sense of reality: she dreams her films and shoots and films her dreams. Visually, her work shows a strong kinship with the typically narrative style of American documentaries. Reality and fiction overlap. Her characters and locations are real, but they are made to evolve according to a loose script. Her images tell a moving story, in which people seem to be waiting for something. The audience is not given any instructions but has free rein to interpret what it sees.
