Che-Kuang Chuang explores the possibilities of the Metaverse. He is an artist and licensed architect residing in Taipei, Taiwan, who employs both analogue and digital techniques. His practice looks at digitisation, technology and futurism, with a focus on leveraging technology to reexamine its role in society. The Subsistence Machines in Meta World series was prompted by the question: "how will people eat, dress, reside and transport in the metaverse?" It reflects on the relationship between modern individuals and technology, culminating in an ironic NFT video.
