Christine Ellison makes graphic scores, live performances and films in which signs from screen interfaces become performative propositions. Sound is employed as an agitational aesthetic, whilst the body becomes a site of knowledge. Through collaborative methods that focus on embodiment and improvisation, the work invites participants and audiences to critically consider how digital systems have transformed our physical relationship to space.
