Cody Lukas is a Danish-Canadian artist based in Copenhagen, working at the intersection of art, science and technology. His practice is driven by a fascination with emerging fields – from synthetic biology to machine learning – translating complex research into tactile, experiential forms as he explores how technological systems in the world today are reshaping the understanding of living systems, sustainability and ethics. His immersive sound installation Growth, developed with the Danish biobank “The OvaCure Collection”, uses recordings of ovarian cancer organoids to explore the fragile boundary between life and death, presenting processed biological sound within a sculptural, light-based
