Cody Lukas is a Danish-Canadian artist based in Copenhagen, working at the intersection of art, science and technology. His practice is driven by a fascination with emerging fields – from synthetic biology to machine learning – translating complex research into tactile, experiential forms. From interactive soft robotics to architectural installations made of living materials, his works encourage dialogue about sustainability, identity and the ethical implications of new technologies. Growth is an immersive sound installation designed in close collaboration with the Danish biobank The OvaCure Collection, a groundbreaking initiative set to become the world’s largest non-profit collection of organoid cultures derived from high-grade serous ovarian cancer tumors.
