Dalion Huang is an experimental artist and Taoist whose work investigates identity through reimagined Chinese folklore and Taoist culture. Using video games as “technology of the self,” his interdisciplinary practice offers spiritual and cultural reflection. Merging autoethnography, folklore, and iconology, Dalion’s poetic works highlight digital spaces as vessels for preserving and reinterpreting Chinese traditions. His art provides a unique perspective on contemporary identity formation and cultural continuity amid political regulation.
