Seascapes Triptych combines forest landscapes with overlays of sea light, creating layered images that speak to the growing impact of climate change. Sparkling traces from the ocean partially obscure woodlands in Dorset and Hampshire, where Davies has long explored themes of belonging, memory and ecological fragility. The intrusion of seawater suggests rising sea levels, pollution, tourism and fire - pressures that slowly erode the natural world. These compositions reflect a cultural and emotional relationship to place, shaped by myth and contemporary environmental narratives. Davies holds a quiet but determined hope for the future, even as the forests shift under mounting strain.
