Emi Okumura is a visual artist whose intricate practice draws on classical patterns and ancient techniques to reflect on time, nature and the unseen forces that shape existence. Through delicate craftsmanship and symbolic detail, their work conveys layered meaning and invites slow contemplation. Okumura has exhibited internationally, including at the EWAAC exhibitions in London and Japan, and Galerie Metanoia in Paris. Their work was honoured with the Prix Monte Dei Fiori at France’s Festival d’Art Sacré and was longlisted for the 2024 Aesthetica Art Prize.
