Finn O'Hara is a Canadian photographer whose fine art practice explores the beauty and complexity of our relationship with nature. Working across landscape, light and environmental precarity, his series including Southern Lights, Standing Rock and American Columbo use colour, scale and directed illumination to reframe familiar terrain. His work is held in the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. In the Birds of Prey series, inspired by Toronto’s migratory bird routes, he documents these animals within fragmented urban habitats, drawing on a camera-trap aesthetic to reflect on habitat loss and the presence of nature within the city.
