Gabriel Isak is a photographic artist based in Stockholm. He creates surreal, melancholic images exploring the unconscious and inner human experience. Influenced by psychology, dreams, and personal experience with depression, his minimal, symbolic compositions feature anonymous figures in introspective landscapes, inviting viewers to reflect on identity, emotion and existence. Isak’s work has been published and exhibited internationally. “Blue Moon” is part of his series In the Blue, inspired by years battling depression. Each image depicts fragments of an anonymous internal world, inviting viewers to reflect on melancholia. The project will be published in 2026.
