Gjert Rognli works as a multidisciplinary artist, with film, photography, sculpture and performance. In his works, he references his Sámi cultural heritage and belonging to Arctic Northern Norway. He takes nature and natural forces into his works with references to the surreal and mythological. Rognli has received a number of international art, photography, television and film awards for his works. And the film that will be shown during the Aesthetica Art Prize 2024 was selected to contribute its message to the international environmental conference COP28-2023 in Dubai.
