Gregor Petrikovic is a visual artist and film director living and working in London. With a background in photography, philosophy, and dance, his work employs bodies and movement as a driving force to engage with themes of human connection that lie beneath the surface of alienated society. The film Figura Serpentinata features four female dancers (Anouk Jouanne, Isis Clunie, Ella Posti, Alina Sakko) who adopt sculptural poses that enhance their dynamism. As the film progresses, these body-sculptures peak before gracefully disintegrating onto the floor in a cyclical process of breakdown and renewal. It features a live improvised score performed by composer Jacob 'NTHNL' Rudin at the ISCP New York Residency (2023).
