Gunyoung Byun (Narhana) is a Korean painter who creates maps of consciousness. After two decades of meditation and philosophical writing, he works intuitively with ink, gold and mixed media to visualise what words cannot reach. In Through The Door, he continues to deepen this exploration. His goal is to create a space that invites the viewer to pause, remain and simply notice the act of seeing itself. In The Door 2, he extends this inquiry into a realm beyond reason, where gold becomes a symbol of infinite potential and perception shifts beyond physical law.
