Hannah Atallah (هانّا عطالله) is a Palestinian-Lebanese-Irish multidisciplinary artist. Atallah has created murals and exhibited work across Baltimore, the US, Jordan and Mexico, earning her recognition in the form of awards, grants and public acquisitions. Through her work, Atallah explores cultural assumptions, embraces historically rich artistic techniques and fosters connections within local communities. She harnesses Arabic traditions of marquetry, carpet making, weaving, mosaic and tatreez (embroidery) to reclaim imagery connected to Arab histories, cultures and experiences. Ultimately, her work aims to honour lives, resist erasure and demand dignity.
