Lara Orawski is a Canadian artist and photographer based in London. Her practice moves across boundaries, bodies, environments and time — probing themes of extinction, evolution and ecological memory. Where other image-makers fix the natural world in place, Orawski lets it slip: her photographs hold species and landscapes mid-transformation, suspended between what has been lost and what is still becoming. In Field Notes, Arctic photographs reflects disorientation, scale and transience, with spectral figures between horizons, evoking glacial memory and ecological loss. Her work has appeared in Ain't Bad, Creative Review, The Earth Issue, i-D, Schön, and Antics, with works exhibited at Tate Modern, the Lethaby Gallery and Paris Fashion Week.
