Loz Atkinson is a multidisciplinary artist exploring intersections of science, nature, anthropology and the cosmos. Her work is provocative yet hopeful, and full of visual and evocative depth. Atkinson’s recent solo exhibition, The Edge of Forever, showed key works from the Imagined Nebula series plus works digitally “bounced” off the Moon. Atkinson has had projects supported by Arts Council England, including Expedition JP237, which involved climbing an Italian mountain to discover the fatal crash site of her great-grandfather’s WWII Halifax bomber.
