Mikolaj Sitkiewicz was born in Lodz, Poland. He gained Photography (BFA) and Artistic Education / Intermedia (MFA). Sitkiewicz creates in the space that borders on autonomous media. By mixing techniques, he uses their complex potential as a bridge to convey specific ideas or emotions. In his artwork, he primarily analyses issues revolving around luddism, environmental protection and cultural-gender identity. Sitkiewicz has been recognised by many awards and exhibited across Europe. He is also an experienced curator and has been published in several esteemed journals.
