Nicola Turner is a UK-based artist known for her sculptures and large-scale, site-responsive installations that explore fundamental dichotomies: life and death, human and non-human, attraction and repulsion. Using “dead” materials like waste horsehair and wool alongside found objects, her work reflects the history and “memory” embedded in these materials. Turner considers our deep entanglement with the environment and the wider interconnected energies that connect all living and nonliving things.
