Pavlina Vagioni

Siren Topology III (2022)

Greek-born interdisciplinary artist Pavlina Vagioni works across sculpture, painting, sound and digital art. Her practice explores Greek mythology through etymological and psychoanalytical research. She adopts a site-specific approach to making work with installations presented at a range of sizes, embracing abstract and figurative elements. Trained at the Athens School of Fine Arts and as a classical singer, Vagioni maintains studios in Houston and Athens. Her award-winning work has been exhibited internationally and features in collections including the MOMus Museum in Greece.
