Phoebe Davies is a Welsh artist and filmmaker. She specialises in performance for camera, using choreography, vocal scores and scripts to explore visceral human experiences and personal politics. Her work often situates audiences within emotionally charged, immersive environments that reflect complex lived realities. She has screened and exhibited work internationally, including at Site Gallery, Somerset House, The Wellcome Collection, CIRCAxDazed and Portland Institute of Contemporary Art. A Duet, Lying on Behalf of All Women is a moving image work in which Davies uses her body and voice to examine pregnancy, trauma and motherhood through an intimate, unflinching performance.
