Phoebe Davies is a Welsh artist and filmmaker. She specialises in performance for camera, capturing physicality on film, choreography, vocal scores and scripts. Her work often explores the personal, murky and audacious realms shaped by imagined, fictionalised and/or lived experiences. She has screened and exhibited work internationally, including; Site Gallery, Somerset House, The Wellcome Collection, CIRCAxDazed and Portland Institute of Contemporary Art. A Duet, Lying on Behalf of All Women is a moving image work in which Davies uses her body and voice to examine pregnancy, trauma and motherhood through an intimate, unflinching performance.
