Poojan Gupta

Carried II (2024)

Poojan Gupta is an artist and practice-based researcher working between London, Oxford and Jaipur. Her large-scale sculptures and installations repurpose over 200,000 discarded pharmaceutical blister packs, exploring the intersection of sustainability, spirituality and consumer culture. Influenced by Hindu rituals and her association with the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, Gupta’s work transforms medical waste into meaningful, symbolic forms. Through minimalist aesthetics and ethical inquiry, she reimagines everyday objects as vessels of healing, memory, and environmental reflection.
