Reine Paradis lives and works in Los Angeles, California and received a BA from Gobelins School in Paris. Known for her unmistakable use of colour and outlandish process, her work spans self-portrait photography, painting, performance, sculpture and video. Through immersive installations, she examines the line between realities and fantasies, and invites viewers to cross the border into a colorful and candidly surreal landscape. Her series Eclipse involves imagined scenarios, constructed sets, costumes and meticulous post-production, projecting her vision into a surreal photographic world. She exhibits internationally, with solo exhibitions in Los Angeles, Berlin, Paris, Miami, Mexico City, Denver and New York.
