Roudhah Al Mazrouei is an Emirati artist and researcher whose practice explores cultural memory through materials like sikham (charcoal) and snaah (a saffron-based paste). Working across film, sculpture and installation, she draws from the landscapes and oral histories of the UAE to build alternative archives rooted in resilience, ritual and Gulf aesthetics. Her work preserves and reimagines traditional knowledge systems, offering a sensory exploration of identity and heritage that bridges past and present through material and narrative expression.
