Shahriar Mazandi, a multi-award winning British-Iranian painter and photographer, is inspired by metaphor and the language of ancient Persian poets like Rumi. Elsewhere, images of fire are mirrored as Rorschach tests – psychological studies in which subjects' perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analysed using psychological interpretation.
