Stefan Reiss has researched drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, projection and light as artistic media for more than fifteen years. The basis of his work is the exploration of transformation, understood as a multi-dimensional process across analogue and digital realms. He focuses on human comprehension, haptic perception of artwork and the comprehensibility of space and spatiality. Through interrelated transformations of analogue and digital worlds, he connects art and technology, research and innovation and interdisciplinarity and immersion. His award-winning project O.T. 987, developed from digital drawings into a day-and-night LED sculpture, translates a personal colour alphabet into an immersive experience through public collaboration.
