Stefano Giannotti is an Italian artist and composer working with moving image, sound and spatial practices. His work explores how urban experience is constructed and mediated through rhythm and time. In projects such as Bolle and The Remixed City, he reconfigures perception, revealing hidden structures, tensions and temporalities within contemporary everyday life. The Remixed City reconstructs the urban environment through collage. Giannotti cuts, pastes and reconfigures different photographic and video materials – some original, others sourced from archives – creating a dreamlike landscape that challenges linear experience. Giannotti's works express a persistent fascination with how the present can be dismantled and reframed.
