Last Moments (2025)

Svitlana Moiseienko’s photographic practice explores the perceptual potential of light and colour through images that move between observation and abstraction. Rooted in close attention to the natural environment, her work engages with variability, scale and temporality. She isolates transient moments, focusing on the tension between presence and disappearance. Through subtle shifts of light and form, her images create spaces of stillness, where time appears suspended and perception becomes intimate. Moiseienko’s Last Moments extends this approach through fading flowers, reflecting on fragility, mortality and memory. The series resists spectacle, using minimalism to transform decay into a quiet meditation on impermanence.
