Tamara Kametani is a Slovak-born visual artist based in Athens, whose work spans multiple media and focuses on border politics, surveillance, resistance and the rise of technology. She critically examines techno-solutionism within utopian contexts. Kametani holds an MA in Contemporary Art Practice from the Royal College of Art and has participated in residencies such as the British Council’s Connect for Creativity in Athens, Google Maps Artist Residency, AGORAMA at Raven Row and Florence Trust. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including Furtherfield, Kunsthalle Bratislava and the Benaki Museum.
