Tera Cho found herself drawn to the motif of power relations between subjects - objects, sociological phenomenons and notions. She explores these subjects through the means of new media - kinetic installation, generative sounds and visual ready-mades. The work confronts what remains unchanged in our perpetually changing age, and the inheritability of ideologies. This is expressed by the abstractable, concrete and temporary nature of sound through her self-made algorithm that morphs one sound into another through time. In turn, the artwork created shares notions intertwined in form, content and title.
