Kyiv-based conceptual artist Veronika Mol is a member of the MYPH group, and she specialises in analogue photography, particularly instant cameras. Drawing inspiration from the manipulation of developed film — such as extending, cutting, burning, dyeing and steel staples stitching. In Recovery Mol unveils a journey to personal strength amid the backdrop of living through war. The images symbolise a new external reality, accentuating inner growth and resilience. Through mechanical manipulation, Mol conveys evolving feelings and experiences that are shaping her life.
