Yu Li FEYU is a Chinese multidisciplinary artist exploring the intersection of storytelling, technology and digital culture. Rooted in conceptual inquiries, her work examines agency, desire and cultural identity in virtual environments, critically engaging with the evolving relationship between humans and machines. Through moving-image works, immersive installation and interactive media, she investigates how technology shapes our emotional landscapes and broader cultural and spatial infrastructures. Derung Daughter is a multimedia installation combining video and sculpture, depicting Derung women’s tattoo rituals as beauty, resistance and protection, exploring cultural memory, visibility, vulnerability and subversive strength.
