Sisters Yuria, a film director and scriptwriter, and Erika, a choreographer and costume designer founded TORANOKO Performing Arts Company in Ehime, Japan in 2002. Toronoko has devised a specific form of visual art combining a broad spectrum of theatrical art with children playing the major roles. Feelings experienced in this dreamlike world reflect the freedom and flexibility of senses which remain ongoing.
