Eleanor Bartlett

Before Form and Void (2022)

Tar, wax and metal paint are Eleanor Bartlett’s materials of choice. The artist’s work explores the value of form and matter in the context of human perception. It is designed to create a shift at the subconscious level, prompting audiences to become aware of the emotional value of form and the ineffable nature of consciousness. Bartlett has constructed these installations in cathedrals, chapels, commercial galleries and public spaces.
