James Briggs uses sculpture and installation to explore the everyday, the sublime and the pure emotion of observation regarding forms and architectural structures. Often site specific, Briggs' sculptures have the viewer in mind, raising awareness to their surroundings, deconstructing the space around them so that they too can be part of the narrative.
